Troy graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1981 and earned his nickname Gabby. He devoted his life to work and started at a young age. When Troy wasn’t working, he loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, and duck hunting. He was even known to be quite the cook. Troy was very passionate about SPARC in Springfield. He was the care taker of his brother Shaun who is a resident of SPARC. Troy’s wishes were that even though flowers are beautiful, in lieu of flowers he would like memorials to be donated to SPARC.
