Terrance David "Terry" Morrow, 55, of Ursa, died at his home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
He was born December 12, 1968, in South Bend, IN, the son of Ron and Melissa June Vincent Morrow.
He is survived by his daughter Julianna Morrow of Quincy and her mother Jennifer Schullian Morrow; his father Ron Morrow (wife Rosanne) of Missouri; a sister Kimberly Juette of Quincy; a brother Nicholas (wife Miracle) Morrow of Quincy; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal grandparents, who helped raise him, James and Thelma Wardell Vincent.
Terry's legacy as an athlete is one to be celebrated. He graduated from Beardstown High School in 1988, leaving behind a trail of victories in basketball, football, baseball, and track. His contribution to the Beardstown Tigers Basketball team helped lead them to the final four in 1987 and is a testament to his skill and dedication. Even after high school, Terry continued to inspire with his athleticism, participating in co-ed softball. He previously worked for Dot Foods and also sanitation out of Quincy. He had a contagious smile, would make anyone laugh with his jokes, and loved his family and friends with all that he had.
The memorial services to honor Terry's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Following the services, Terry will be laid to rest in the Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will be available to meet with friends one hour before the services at the memorial home on Saturday.
