Ray Rachall

Ray Anthony Rachall, 67 of Beardstown and formerly of Tuscon, AZ, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Beardstown Health and Rehab.

He was born August 20, 1957 in Spokane, WA, the son of Raymond and Mary Metoyer Rachall.

He is survived by one daughter Cheyenne Rachall of Beardstown; his grandson son Maurizio Surratt of Beardstown; three sisters Stephanie Polk (husband Phil) of Ohio, Charlene Betters of Phoenix, AZ, and Dorene "Nisi" Lewis (husband Carl) of Tucson, AZ; three brothers Mike Rachall of San Antonio, TX, David Rachall of Tucson, AZ, and Eric Rachall (wife Lillian of Tucson, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Michelle Rachall.

Ray attended Rincon High School in Tucson, AZ and was head usher and a dedicated member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Tucson. He was a committed employee for over 20 years at R&R Products before retiring due to health issues. Passionate about NASCAR, he happily followed his favorite races and had a hobby of building model ships and cars. Known for his lighthearted humor, Ray loved making others smile and laugh.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date in Tucson, AZ. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is assisting the family.
