Randy Dollins

Randy Eugene Dollins, age 58 of Witt, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at his home.

He was born May 19, 1964 in Mattoon, the son of Earl Ray and Wonda Wright Dollins. He married Jerri Eller on May 5, 1987.

He is survived by his wife Jerri Dollins of Witt; one daughter Christine (husband James) Hopping of Nokomis; a son Randy (companion Katie Robertson) Dollins II of Witt; three grandsons Randy Dollins III, and Troy and Travis Hopping; two sister Dixie Witherall and Frankie Yingst; and six brothers Dennis, Billy, David, Steve, and Larry Dollins and Jimmy Zinke. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Cathy Dollins, and two brothers Thomas Dollins and Johnny Zinke.

Randy was self-made and self-employed all his life. He was a Jack of all trades and worked along side his wife cutting and selling firewood for 20+ years. He owned and operated his own towing business and he loved to stay busy and could fix anything. Randy had a passion for antique cars and loved nothing better than an ice-cold Coke. He was always there when anyone needed him and would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Randy’s greatest joy in life was his family who will greatly miss him.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
