Peggy Klinedinst

Peggy Diane Klinedinst, age 77 of Beardstown, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at her home.

She was born April 19, 1943 in Canton, the daughter of Arthur and Alice McClure McCulley. She married Robert Klinedinst on August 26, 1963 and he survives.

She is also survived by two daughters Joy Harris of Rushville and Tammy Eaton of Beardstown; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great child; her brother Lewis McCulley of Beardstown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Beverly Sue Brasel, her sister Suzanne Cox, and her son-in-law Terry Jo Eaton.

Peggy attended Lewistown High School and later in life obtained her GED. She was a member of Teamster’s Local #627 where she drove a truck until her health wouldn’t allow it anymore. She was always determined and never let anything bring her down. Peggy had a love for animals, and she could fix anything. She sewed, embroidered, and made many doll clothes, and was never afraid to get her hands dirty too. Peggy’s greatest joy was her family and she will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in the Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the memorial home.

Due to the current health situation, face masks will be required, and to comply with social distancing guidelines, a limited number of people will be allowed in the memorial home at one time.
