Pauline “Pat” Florey Hageman, age 80 of Frederick, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 20, 1936 in Highland, IN the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Helen Webster Florey. She married Jackie W. Hageman on November 21, 1954 and he preceded her in death in July of 2011.

She is survived by her children Jack (wife Tammy) Hageman of New Hampshire, Chris Smith of Beardstown, and Vickey (husband Craig) Stevens of Frederick; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two daughters Patricia Garthaus, and in infancy Lajune Cynthia Hageman.

Pat graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1954, and was married later that year. She was a loving wife and mother. She and her husband built and managed Hageman’s Skating Rink in Beardstown during the 1970’s, and she was at home to raise her children and even be a Girl Scout Leader for her daughters. Pat enjoyed crocheting, singing, and genealogy. She was a member of First Christian Church in Beardstown where she also taught Sunday School. Most importantly to Pat, she loved being a grandmother and great grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at First Christian Church in Beardstown. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Private burial will be held.

Memorials have been suggested to the Jacksonville School District #117 Autism Program or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
