Larry Hall

Larry Lee Hall, age 78 of rural Virginia, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.

He was born June 11, 1941 in Beardstown, the son of Charles and Dorothy Allen Hall. He married Virginia Thompson on July 10, 1970.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Hall; two sons Roger and Mike Hall; a daughter Lisa (husband James) Gyure; two grandsons Kahne and Nathan; two sisters Joann Manuel and Carolyn Knous; and one brother Jerry (wife Shirley) Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Dale Hall, a sister Mary Lou Lawson, and a brother Robert and a sister Marilyn in infancy.

Larry graduated from Beardstown High School. He worked in the sanitation department for Oscar Mayer and retired from Excel in Beardstown. He enjoyed bowling, he almost bowled a perfect game, and participating in bowling tournaments. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
