Kimberly Walters

Kimberley Dawn Walters, age 49 of Beardstown, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 29, 2020 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

She was born August 15, 1970 in Rushville, the daughter of Harold and Carlitta Collins.

She is survived by two daughters Hannah (husband Allen) Miller of Rushville and Lacey (significant other Justin Morris) Walters of Beardstown; two grandchildren Aubrey Miller and Evan Morris; a sister Jenny (husband Sam) McElveen of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kim graduated from Rushville High School. She worked at Heritage Manor in Beardstown for nine years.  Kim would always help anyone and was a caring and kind person. She will miss her three dogs who she cared for with all her heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and everyone who knew her loved her.

Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
