Junior Kalonji

Junior Kalonji, age 37, died at his home on March 24, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Kalonji Kanku, and their children: Richie, Russel, Russella, and Richness.

Junior was of the Christian faith. He worked for Dot Foods and was in training to be a pastor with the New Church Apostolic. In his spare time, he enjoyed soccer, hosting gatherings at his home, and listening to music, especially Congolese and gospel.

Funeral services will be held at 9 A.M. on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will follow at Beardstown City Cemetery leaving from memorial home at noon on Saturday. Friends are welcome to visit Friday April 25th, 2025 from 6-9 P.M. at the memorial home.

Junior était chrétien. Il travaillait pour Dot Foods et suivait une formation de pasteur auprès de la Nouvelle Église apostolique. Pendant son temps libre, il aimait jouer au football, organiser des rassemblements chez lui et écouter de la musique, notamment congolaise et gospel.

Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 26 avril 2025 à 9 h au Colwell Memorial Home de Beardstown. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière municipal de Beardstown, avec départ du mémorial à midi le samedi. Les proches sont les bienvenus le vendredi 25 avril 2025 de 18 h à 21 h au mémorial.
