Julio Cesar Salicrup Hernandez

Julio C. Salicrup Hernández, 77, passed away in his home on June 2nd 2024, in Beardstown, IL.

He was born December 14, 1946, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Julio C. Salicrup Serra and Gilda Hernández Maeso. He was married to Milagros Marrero Nieves.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters Melissa and Tamara; his stepson Alexander; his eight grandchildren, Diego, Adrián, Ariana, Damián, Gabriela, Jazmin, Yadiel and Lia; and his two siblings, Ana and Roberto.

Julio cherished the simple joy of being at home with his wife and dogs. An avid fan of all things racing, he loved collecting miniature cars and watching races. His favorite of all times was his 1970 Camaro, Mimeta.

His family and especially his daughters will miss him dearly. Julio is now in heaven, reunited with his beloved wife, Millie.

Cremation Rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Colwell Memorial Home is handling the arrangements.
