Julie Jorganson

Julie Ann Jorganson, age 63 of Virginia, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home.

She was born March 16, 1958 in Kewanee, the daughter or Wilbur, Jr and Judy Ramsy Jones. She married Arthur Jorganson on September 26, 1998 and he survives.

She is also survived by her father Wilbur M. Jones. Jr of Galesburg; a daughter Jamie (husband Kenneth) Shelby of Beardstown; two grandchildren Tyler Scott of Jacksonville and Tabitha Hayes of Virginia; a brother Mike (wife Sheri Easton) Jones of Kewanee; three sisters Jody Jones of Galesburg, Wanda Jones of Moscow Mills, MO, and Cindy Hillman of Galesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Julie attend Galesburg schools. She worked in food service all her life. Julie was a shift manager for Beardstown McDonalds for many years and most recently worked at The Depot in Virginia before retiring. In her spare time, she loved reading, sewing, and crafting. She cherished the time spent with family and will be missed by those who loved her the most.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be held at a later date. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
