Howard Ray “Bub” Bell, age 73 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and formerly of Beardstown, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home
He was born March 12, 1943 in Beardstown, the son of M. Lucille (Goff) Ainsworth . He married Nancy Rogers and she survives.
Also surviving are his children Michael Ray Bell of California, Howard Mark Bell of Iowa, Myra Michelle Bell of Arkansas, and Robert Matthew (wife Jillian) Bell of Missouri; and his grandchildren Maddox and Myka G. Bell. He was preceded in death by his mother, his sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Stan Tomlinson, two uncles Donald “Bud” Goff and Robert “Bob” Goff, and his brother Harold R. “Butch” Bell.
Bub graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1961. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Oscar Mayer in Beardstown, Maintenance Manager at Sara Lee Foods in Tennessee, Con-Agra Foods in Iowa, and for Chrysler LLC in St. Louis. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Bub enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting coins. Most of all he loved being with his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date.
Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is assisting the family.
