Erica Callihan

Erika Nicole Blackwell Callihan, age 25 of Beardstown, died Thursday, October 27, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 17, 1991 in Jacksonville, the daughter of Rodney Blackwell and Teresa Icenogle of Beardstown.

Surviving are her parents; two sons Seth James and Memphis Zane Blackwell of Beardstown; her brother Adam Blackwell of Beardstown; her maternal grandmother Patsy Icenogle of Beardstown; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Clarence Icenogle, her paternal grandparents Earl and Dorothy Blackwell, and her uncle Jamie Blackwell.

Erika graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 2010. She had worked for Liberty Foods in Beardstown, Rushville County Market, and currently with JBS in Beardstown. Erika was spunky. She loved life, animals, classic rock music, playing softball, but most of all, she loved her sons.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday, October 31, 2016 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in the Beardstown City Cemetery. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to the services at the memorial home.
