Cole Laws

Cole Edward Laws, 20 of Pleasant Plains, died Sunday, May 5, 2024 at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother Tracey Lynn Chambers Laws, his maternal grandfather Edward Laws, his maternal great grandparent's Patrick and Betty Patterson, and his paternal great-grandfather Charles Chambers.

He is survived by his father Daniel (wife Carol) Laws of Pleasant Plains; his siblings Sydney Jane Laws, Mallory Taylor Smedley, Jennifer Cardamone, and Michael Cardamone; his maternal grandparents Vicki Chambers of Phoenix and Dave (companion Nancy Giovannini) Chambers of Bluff Springs; his paternal grandmother Linda Fuhr of Pleasant Plains; his maternal great-grandmother Hazel Chambers of Bluff Springs; two aunts Jenny (husband Scott) Hill and Kerry Slater; and several nieces and nephews.

Cole was born January 26, 2004 in Springfield and graduated from Pleasant Plains High School in the class of 2022. He had an appreciation for all kinds of music and enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was fishing at his favorite spot or deer hunting with his dad.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. There will be no formal services. Condolences may be left online at www.colwellmemorialhome.com or on Facebook at Colwell Memorial Home.
