Christopher Robert Kloker, age 37 of Pittsfield, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home.

He was born March 26, 1980 in Rushville, the son of Robert and Paula Leverton Kloker. He married Kari Tucker on December 17, 2010 in Pittsfield.

He is survived by his wife Kari Kloker of Pittsfield; three sons: Jakob and Beau Koehn, and Drake Kloker of Pittsfield; his parents Robert and Paula Kloker of Beardstown; his father-in-law Mark Tucker of Easton; his mother-in-law Cheryl (husband Sid) Buch of Red Bud; his sister Faith Ann (husband Kevin) Grab of Springfield; four sister-in-laws: April (husband Justin) McLaughlin of Mason City, Samantha (husband Jake) Eckert of Columbia, IL. Savannah (Finance Ryan) Buch and Sierra (husband Zach) Wittenaur of St. Louis, MO; his grandparents Ron and Norma Power of Pana; and his nieces and nephews Keegan Kloker, Haleigh Gordon, Macy and Brady McLaughlin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Mim Leverton and Ed and Louis Kloker.

Christopher graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 1998. Following graduation he attended Western Illinois University receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 2002. Chris was employed by the FS Company for thirteen years. In 2015, he began working for Helena Chemical Company. He was a member of the Beardstown Elks Lodge #1007 and of the Pittsfield Moose Lodge #420. He was a farmer, an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and shooting trap, and would help or do any job, as long as he was paid with a pie. Chris cherished his family. His wife and boys where his life and he will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Beardstown. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services. The family will meet with friends from 4-7 PM Wednesday, at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown.

Memorials have been suggested to Chris’s children’s education fund.
