Benny Murphy

Benny Murphy, age 94, of East TN, formerly of Cuba, IL passed away November 11, 2021.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. After a long career at Alexander Lumber Company in Cuba, IL he retired in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Murphy, brother James Murphy, sisters Virginia Jane Baker and Mrytle Goldsmith.

He is survived by his nephew Robert Ennis wife Denise, his nephew Jimmy Goldsmith wife Rose, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 20,2021 at Cuba Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is assisting the family with arrangements.
