Alesander Rodriguez

Alesander Rodriguez-Rodriguez, age 19 of Beardstown, died Monday, October 2, 2017 in California where he was stationed while serving in the United States Marine Corps.

He was born October 28, 1997, St. Jude Day, in Calvillo, Aguascalientes, Mexico, the son of Reynaldo Rodriguez-Flores and Esperanza Rodriguez-Rodriguez.

He is survived by his parents; three sisters Karina, Priscilla, and Marlene Rodriguez all of Beardstown; his niece Jomary Rodriguez; and his grandfather’s Jose Rodriguez and Reynaldo Rodriguez.

Alesander graduated from Beardstown High School in the class of 2016 and was a very active student during those years. He played in the school band and almost every sport offered, served on Student Council and Key Club, and sang in the Beardstown Elite Choir all four years. After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp and was stationed in California. He was a member of St. Alexius Catholic Church in Beardstown. Alesander enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends, but most of all he loved being with his family; even taking his sisters to Springfield.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Alexius Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mexico at a later date. The family will meet with friends from 4:30 PM to midnight on Friday October 13, 2017 at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Military Services will begin at 4 PM, followed by the Beardstown Elite Choir, prior to the visitation at the memorial home.

Alesander Rodriguez-Rodriguez, de 19 años oriundo de Beardstown, falleció el lunes, 2 de octubre del 2017 en California, lugar donde estaba estacionado mientras servía en el Cuerpo de la Marina de Estados Unidos.

El nació el 28 de Octubre de 1997, el día St. Judas, en Calvillo Aguascalientes, México, hijo de Reynaldo Rodriguez-Flores y Esperanza Rodriguez-Rodriguez.

Le sobreviven sus padres; tres hermanas Karina, Priscilla, y Marlene Rodriguez todos de Beardstown; su sobrina Jomary Rodriguez; y su abuelitos Jose Rodriguez y Reynaldo Rodriguez.


Alesander se graduó de Beardstown High School en la generación del 2016 y fue un estudiante muy activo durante estos años. Él fue miembro de la banda y también de casi todos los deportes que se ofrecen, también fue miembro del Consejo Estudiantil y del Key Club, y cantó en el Coro Elite de la escuela por todos los cuatro años. Después de su graduación, se integró al Cuerpo de la Marina de los Estados Unidos y estaba estacionado en California. Él era miembro de la iglesia Católica San Alexius en Beardstown. Alesander disfrutaba ir de pesca y cazar con sus amigos, pero lo que más disfrutaba era pasar tiempo con su familia; y pasear con sus hermanas en Springfield.

La misa se llevara a cabo a las 11 AM, el 14 de octubre del 2017 en la iglesia Católica San Alexius. Su sepelio será en México. La familia se reunirá con amigos desde las 4:30 PM hasta la medianoche el 13 de octubre del 2017 en la Casa Funeraria Colwell Memorial en Beardstown. Los Servicios Militares comenzarán a las 4 PM, acompañado por el Coro Elite de la escuela, antes de la visitación, en la casa funeraria.
